When placing a transfer with a customer service representative through Infoline, what is the cut off time and is there a fee?
The Customer Service Infoline will accept transfers up to 12 Midnight on any banking day (Monday through Friday). If you speak with a representative to preform the transfer, there is a $5.00 fee for processing the transfer.
*You may make transfers free by utilizing Infoline provided your have a Debit or ATM card and your accounts are tied to the card. These transfers can be made up to midnight on the same business day. Transfers made after 12:00 AM will be considered as being made on the following business day.
*You may also transfer funds free through Online Banking. The cut-off time for placing a web transfer is 10:30 pm each business day. Any transfer made after 10:30 pm will be considered as being made on the following business day.
How do I transfer funds?
To transfers funds between your BancorpSouth accounts: Select the tab "Transfers" within online banking. Choose "Internal Transfer" for fund transfers between BancorpSouth bank accounts. Select the "from account" and the "to account". Choose the frequency, first transfer date, number of transfers and "transfer amount". For a one time transfer the transfer date and the number of transfers defaults to current date and one transfer. The next screen will ask you to verify the transfer, if correct select "add transfer". A confirmation page will be displayed. Transfers after 10:30 pm CST will be considered as being made on the following business day.
I made a transfer through Online Banking, when will it post to my account?
Internal transfers made prior to 10:30 p.m. on any business day will post to your account on the same business day. Internal transfers made after 10:30 p.m. will post the following business day. External transfers will display the posting options with the settlement dates. The standard option takes 3-4 business days to complete and the next day option, if available, will take one (1) business day. External transfers requested prior to 4:00 p.m. will begin processing the same business day.
